A word from our team
It took us a wee minute to sit back and take in what an accomplishment it was to win Best Live Music or Entertainment Venue at the THA awards on Monday.
From the very start, 25 years ago, Irish Murphy’s was built on the idea of “The best Craic in town”, fun, enjoyable conversation and most importantly live local entertainment.
Our team is humbled and proud to receive this recognition from our peers, in an industry which we absolutely love being a part of. Our team at Irish Murphy’s Hobart and our management team at Norton Hospitality have shown such dedication and hard work. Especially throughout the last three years, which have been the hardest times we have seen in the hospitality industry. The resilience from our team, and the support from the Hobart community has been nothing but overwhelming, and for this we are extremely thankful.
Congratulations to all the businesses that were nominated, thank you to all the musicians who made this possible and everyone in the Tasmanian hospitality industry.
