We are seeking a suitably experienced Bar Attendant to become an integral part of our friendly, busy Public & Sports Bar in Woombye (Sunshine Coast).

This role is ideal for someone who is confident behind the bar, understands gaming operations, and is ready to take the next step into a leadership role. While this position will commence as a Bar Attendant, we are specifically looking for someone with the experience and capability to progress into a leadership role and lead the bar team over time.

• 5-day roster

• 30+ hours per week

• Set roster (schedule negotiable)

• Combination of days, nights, and weekends

• Secure, ongoing employment in a long-established local venue

Experience & competencies required

Applicants must have practical, hands-on experience in the following areas:

• Bar service (current RSA required)

• TAB operations (TAB compliance training)

• Gaming (RSG)

• Keno (RSG)

• Working in a busy public or sports bar environment

Please note: This role is not suitable for applicants who hold an RSA only with no prior bar or gaming experience.

Leadership potential

• Experience supervising, training, or mentoring staff is highly regarded.

• Confidence supporting the bar team during busy trade.

• Willingness to step into a leadership role as skills and experience are demonstrated.

Candidates will be assessed at application and interview based on their:

• Previous venue experience.

• Demonstrated competencies across bar and gaming operations.

• Readiness to progress into a leadership position.

Appointment level and future progression will be determined based on experience and capability.
