National Marketing Manager | Norton Hospitality | Brisbane | QLD

Norton Hospitality is a successful family business operating nine hospitality venues across Tasmania, Queensland and Victoria.


We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Manager to join our team to lead the promotion and branding of our multifaceted pub group!! 

Experience in the Hospitality Industry, in particular pubs, is a must as you will be immersed within the pub culture. 


What your role entails:

You will be responsible for the forward planning of venue activities and promotions, and developing marketing campaigns to be implemented as part of National key dates on our venue marketing calendars.


The opportunity:

  • Reporting to the National Operations Manager, you and your report (Marketing & Socials Coordinator), will work closely with venue management to deliver a leading market position and continued development of each brand. 

  • This is a Monday to Friday office based role within Brisbane CBD, with work from home flexibility considered.

  • A salary commensurate with the scope of the role as well as qualifications, skills and experience is negotiable.

  • Action orientated, seizing on opportunities;

  • Creative, innovative, decisive, and clear thinking;

  • A strong understanding of customer and market dynamics;

  • Ability to plan and prioritise work loads in order to meet deadlines;

  • Effectively manage and motivate others to achieve outcomes;

  • Cool under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously.


Required skills and qualifications:

  • Proven success in developing marketing plans and campaigns;

  • Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills;

  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite and platforms such as Canva, Later, monday.com, Wix, Slack and Mailchimp;

  • Experience managing marketing budgets, and optimising spend for best return

  • Analytical skills for tracking metrics and reporting;

  • Experience with marketing automation, EDM and CRM tools.


Preferred skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing, business, or related field;

  • Proficiency with online marketing and social media strategy;

  • Previous experience in a marketing management role;

  • Willingness to travel intra and interstate as required.


The successful candidate should be equally proficient with day-to-day marketing activities and medium to long term strategising, while striving under tight deadlines to meet venues' changing needs.
